I did not expect much from a $8 reel. The box arrived damaged and upon opening, the reel base was partially busted off. I cannot recommend this reel, as it does not spin freely and has some noticeable wobble to the spool. Some chatter when releasing the handle as the anti-reverse is not continuous. I do like the feel of the foam handle grip and the finish is nice. Spend a few bucks more and get the Meredith Sagitarious reel that this seller also deals in, as that is an exceptional reel for the price.

Reel is smooth just a slight play on handle when you stop reeling. It’s not enough to effect hook sets.
